congratulations on your top 30 finish!
here's something to think about. on one hand, the softness adds a dreamy feel to your image. that can be good, especially if you have a real subject (like a person or a building). on the other hand, if the subject is the landscape itself, they typically look better a bit sharper.
i'm going to guess that you used a tripod. what you might want to experiment with is using the timer mode for shots like this. that way, you won't get the little blurring that the camera picks up when you click the shutter with your finger.
good luck, have fun! |

so, who's your shooting buddy...
well, i like the colors in yours better, but i wish it wasn't so soft. all the same, i'm giving ya'll both the same score, because far be it from me to get in the middle. bet ya'll had a fun week comparing scores, as well ;-) |

A breath taking combination made up of the warm horizon's reds and oranges and the still waters cold blues. The higlight of this image for me is the row of grass that makes up the bottom of the frame. 10 |

Looks like it was taken hand held, the trees seem to be a bit fuzzy |

i saw i photo just like this... i dont know if your the same one that submits the photograph but i can say this is a better version because the sun is not out yet and because of that you get more bright and rich colors.... and for that im giving you a very fine grade |

My top three for this challenge are all landscapes. This one is the same scene as the other shot of the same location. There is a nice flow of line in both pics as well as the nice smooth early morning rendition of calm colors. |

Nice color in the sky. The trees are a bit out of focus. |
