I hope they continue to read. Maybe opening the left door would have prevented the flash glare and covered the thermostat. |

6 Bs mean 6 extra points from me! Just kidding, as my scoring options end at 10. Nice idea for a shot; I love the kids as they stand there in natural stances. It could be sharpened a bit, though, and the cabinet door has a distracting flare on it. Nice. |

Good idea. A little too bright of light/flash that reflects in the glass. A bit bright in areas like the faces and the pants. Maybe step]ing back a bit to get the feet included and might rid the flash glare? |

The flash on the cabinet door is a definite sore spot for me with this photo. |

Too bad about the thermostat! I get the feeling they don't get to look in that old bookcase very often. Nice shot. 6 |

Cute kid shot but the glare from the flash is distracting. Maybe try holding a bathroom tissue of the flash, it helps reduce the glare. Or if you just moved a bit to the left the reflection would not come strait back at the camera. |

Lovely shot of your kids. I would try to avoid using your flash. I never use mine unless I have too. I always use an other light source or mess with my camera settings. |

1 point for each of the B\'s in the title - minus one point for having the flash light being reflected :)
Also appears to be a little distortion in the photo as the side of the cupboard and the door don\'t look quite straight (or is it just my eyes going funny from looking at too many photos??) |

Plenty of "B"s in your shot, so you definitely meet the challenge. From a photographic point of view, while you probably had to take the opportunity and take the shot fast (unless you encouraged the kids to read like that), there are many things to look out for that might make for a better photo. The reflection of the flash, cutting off the kid's legs and taking the photo from your eye-level rather than theirs are the biggest ones to me. Try take the pic from their level and somewhat from the side (or without the flash) to see the difference. With all that said and done, they are very cute on how they are picking and reading their books, definitely a keeper for the family album. |
