| While I usually prefer faces, this back still works for me - captures the feeling. Consider moving the person even a little more to the right of the frame. Nicely done. |

| Got a great classic type style to it. Maybe a little too blown out just behind the bow of the ship but nice capture. |

| This is an evoking and masterful capturing of that true blue feeling of traveling the night through or, as in the case here, just getting a real early start. The black and white and over all composition is amazing. 9 |

| I like it a lot. His leg shouldn't be up though, and he should look more sailoresque. But hell, you probably didn't want to spend a whole lot of time on the shot - it's too much work to find a damned sailor outfit. I relaly like it. If I were a sailor this would be nostalgia. EIGHT because I'm real nice |

| this perfectly captures the spirit of the challenge. i think the processing is the only thing that will hold it down in the scoring. it looks a little flat, like it could use a bit more contrast. a bit of a black border could set it off, as well. |
