 I know the flash is a tad harsh, but when I tried bouncing it, the bat didn't show up. I'm just thrilled that I worked out how to use the strobe function - yippeeeee!!
Cropped, levels, minor adjustments like saturation. Neat image and fixing some pimples on daughter's face, resize, save for web.

good idea, but I don't think it's very clear what the object is that is about to strike her. lighting is pretty flat as well - this could have been lit more dramatically.

Shouldn't there be someone / something "Striking" her?
...oh wait - I guess that thing on the right is in motion. Unfortunately that was hard to tell. A blurred fist or more visible stick or something may help what is an otherwise great idea. The rest of it is well done also.
