Sorry, not a 6. I gave it a 5.

Composition is great. Color is good. However, the figurines have too much "reflection" "shine" whatever you want to call it so my eyes feel like they can't get focused on them and this is what kept this from being a 7.

The title tie-in is a bit obscure and makes the viewer look around the photo to find it. The DOF should be the subject that "makes" the image. I'm also thinking the DOF wasn't quite shallow enough as many items in the photo are still quite clear. Lighting on the chess pieces is a bit strong...

I like the idea overall, but I think there's just too much going on to get the viewers attention quickly and get them to think "Wow!".

My 2 cents. ;^)

Interesting image. I'm not sure what those people are, so I may not get the concept. However, it's well composed has a nice sense of balance and intersting use of color. Nice image.

Hard to tell the subject of the photo.

I would have preferred shallower DOF for this challenge. Interesting composition though!

Interesting concept. Lighting feels a little harsh on the lower left - maybe use a diffuser to soften it up a bit. Beautiful capture of the reflections.
