This image deserves a ribbon because of the unique method of capture, the angle, the raging scream and then this little cutie pie. Well, Congratulations on your top ten finish. |

This is the only image so far that does not rely on the title to express the phobia. It shows the fear and the object of fear and conveys the message instantly. Well done. Only the mouse on the glass plate from underneath looks a bit unnatural, just on the floor might have been better, but I realise it would have been more difficult to get the composition right. |

6 - Good angle/perspective. Criticism; according to 'the list' your title is a fear of people or society, so 'who knows' there. If the tail were able to be incorporated and the 'specks' not on (presumably) the glass, make this even better in my opinion. edit:read your comments, I 'get it' now, but still, you portrayed a person 'in fear'; now if the mouse was cowering, screeching and holding a little broom - different story

Great set up! I love the looking through the glass perspective. Your model's doing a great job of showing fear! (unless the fear is real, then I'd say "very nice capture" on your part). Very cool. <10> |

I just love this shot. The mouse is so sharp, and looks menacing in that pose (tossed through the air?). I was thinking "fear of mice", but Anthropophobia is fear of flowers. Is it in the right challenge? Would have been a good one for DOF also, which may have been your intention. Either way, great shot! 9 |

When I saw this I thought "fear of mice", then I read the title and realized that this is the mouse's view. Reminds me of an old Twilight Zone Episode, "The Invaders" where an alien space craft with little creatures crashes into the farmhouse where an old woman lives. Anyway, I'm drifting off subject. This gets a good score! |

I have seen this little guy somewhere before:) But it does kinda confuse me with the title, anthropophobia: Fear of people or society. I really like the composion, but why did you put him on glass (sucks the focal plane is so much so on the glass can alot of the spects of stuff on it) Its a good idea 7

Cute mouse... great use of focus to emphasize the mouse... and excellent way to portray the scary phobia associated with the little guy by having the girl in the background, and with her broom no less! Yep.. all around wonderfully done. A 10! :) |

I think your title should have been Musophobia, Murophobia or Suriphobia because Anthropophobia means fear of people or society.
I also would have made sure that the glass is spotless, your many spots are quite distracting.
Having said all that, now I move onto the positive. I LOVE IT !!! It was a clever idea, and truly shows the fear not just the object of the fear. Very nice !!!!! 8 |

This is VERY interesting that you eschewed the obvious "musophobia" (the woman's clearly in a tizzy here) for the much more subtle phobia of the mouse :-) This is nicely done. Pity about that damned speck ain't it? It's not costing you any points from me :-) |
