Greetings from the Critique Club
You found a good pun, illustrated it well and were nicely rewarded by our voters (including me).
Your commentors mentioned the blue surface. I tend to agree; this image could also have done really well in black and white. That might have evened out the shadows as well.
Then, this image seems to be just a bit soft-focus. You might consider what impact your image would have if those grains of salt, and the printing on the barrel of the weapon were tack sharp.
Still, all in all, a good entry and one the voters liked.

| Good pun! I like the squared-of approach in this picture, very graphic in a way, all these straight lines and rectangles except for the little triangle of salt. Cool. |

| I alternate between wishing this were technically more exalted and admiring it for its deadpan, no-drills approach. Admirtation is winning out; bumpety bump :-) |

| Good & creative, but I don't like the blue at all. I think black would have been a nice fit, and accented the gun a little more. |

| hahaha reminds me of a time my friend took the salt and a cell phone battery out at a restraunt and found it funny... the only possible complaint i have is the abundance of cool tones on such a string image |
