Hey, I love the "look" of this shot. It looks almost CGI. What were your post-processing steps?

Greetings from the Critique Club
You have a perfectly executed photograph here that was richly rewarded by our voters.
While the pun (perhaps an obscure one) puzzled our voters they gave you full marks for originality and superb photography.
There really isn't much to critique in this image, except to reiterate what you did right. So with thanks for the chance to look at this image again closely, I'll move on to the next Challenge entry in the queue.
I wish you continued success in DP Challenges. |

Returning for comments. A little obscure on the pun, but a magnificent, high-quality image!! |

I have puzzled and puzzled at this one. I have absolutely NO clue what the pun is, and it is driving me crazy. I have to assme there IS a pun, and I'm missing it. The picture itself is spectacularly nice, just beautiful. The way the snake details echo the details of the hilt, for example... The perfect way the snake's tail makes a "bracelet" on the wrist. I love this shot.
So I'm gonna do somethign I never do, and boot you to the top of the stack on the ASSUMPTION there's something here I'm missing. I hope that's true :-) |

This is perfect lighting and coloring. I didn't remember "Hamlet" well enough for the title to make sense without googling, but it is a clever idea. |

Love how the pattern of the snake pops out and how its skin almost meshes with the blade handle. |

Nice crisp shot. Beautiful sword. I hate snakes though. Didn't mark you down for the snake. :) |

Beautifully well-done image. But I'm afraid the pun will be lost on the majority of voters, even those that really like the image. Still, I love it! Great shot, and one of the best executions (NPI) of the challenge. |
