 another last minute submission...it seems like they turn out the best. i hope it fits the challenge. it may be considered more of an action taken by Hadephobiacs rather than evoking the feeling one would get. i still think some people will see it as a powerful picture.

post processing- crop, desaturation, curves, neat image, curves again, unsharp mask, brightness/contrast, neat image again, and resize.

I like the prospective of this picture in here, But i wonder if there is any editing done at the fingers, softening of blurring effect?!

Isnt a phobia supposed to be an irrational fear? Fear of hell seems pretty normal to me. Nice moody shot, but this is a pretty common fear isn't it? funny but scoring both challenges back and forth, I would have rated this higher in the DOF challenge.

Well done, you conveyed a big idea simply by showing a part of a clenched fist and a small cross. The finger/thumb in the forground (lower left hand corner) bothers me, and the composition could be a little better, but I love the harsh lighting - it is very effective for this pic.
