A nice capture for Season and well composed. I think the problem is your photograph looks flat in the reds loosing a lot of detail. As one commenter said it is very hard to capture reds, particularly the highlights.
You filled the frame well and IMO I think you did a good job. Sometimes photographs are just had to take in certain situations and lighting and I think that happened here. I give you props for a good attempt. Keep up the good work and continue shooting. I wish you the best in up coming challenges.

| eekk - sorry, doing the last bit of voting on my laptop and this is really really pink - i hope it looks better on everyone elses monitors. focus is nice. might look bette with the flower center at one of the rule of thirds points, the bottom right is the least interesting part of the image. |

| Great idea. The highlights are blown out a little, causing loss of definition in the leaves. |

| Not a bad take on the challenge but I would go easy on the saturation next time you shoot something so red, the red channel is blown out in several places and frankly it isn´t very flattering. |
