I do not, for some reason, do roses well, especially red ones. I like flower macros very much and one of the problems I have is what I do not see before I go in with my macro set up....I always end up cleaning and clone thing here and there. The detail in this is very good. The lighting is a bit harsh at the top. Not sure what you could have done about that.

A little overexposed, making the image harsh looking, you could have taken the photo from another angle leaving out the unsightly damage of the flower petals

Very vibrant, in my opinion you can't beat a beautiful rose, nice crop on this one.

Nice tight crop isolates a single pattern. Good. Rather blown out details and faded looking color. Bad.
