Thanks for all the great comments. As for the others that thought it didn't fit the challenge; I don't see how simply suggesting a series of events for a nite out isn't on topic.
I've just discovered that this pic should've been DQ'd since the foggy filter used isn't allowed. All I can say is, oops! I am now much clearer on the filter rules and won't let it happen again. My apologies :)
p.s. Anna I would've preferred the shadowed part to be as dark as my face, i really like the contrast i achieved. |

This is one of those photos that has that feeling of a state of dreaminess. I really do like the concept here. Your downfall appears to be simply the shadows. Your lighting is strong on the left side and then your right side is shadowed.
Overall it is a nice interuptation on the challenge and I think you have excuted your idea well.

| I like the softness of the lighting here, but also wish it were a bit darker. The existing lighting brings more attention to your model's beautiful creamy skin, round lips and breasts (as much as I can see of them :) With the lighting accent more on the body than on the jewelry I think this photo is more fitting a "bedroom" challenge...not that I find that to be objectionable at all :) I think dramatic lighting would be more appropriate for a "night on the town" challenge where a spotlight directed on to this ornate and beautiful necklace would bring out it's importance and luster. Also, I would have preferred this picture with the necklace in color, and the rest of the photo in B&W...and would want to see a slightly more contrasting background, but not so much so as the background is the same tone as the model's skin. |

| Was this supposed to be submitted to this challenge? It looks closer to "Nude" to me. I guess in a stretch it could be interpeted as "getting ready to go out on the town". |

| I'm not sure if this should have been in the nude challenge it's a good picture but I see little relating to nighttime or 'on the town' a 5 for photographic quality though it's lacking otherwise a 7 as a nude |
