The fun thing about foul is not only are they habitual and ritual creatures, but they're very synchronized. Great capture, and wonderful exposure and color considering that they're in motion. |

This would of made a fantastic photo had the focus been a little sharper and it wasn't blown out so much on the middle bird. Great timing though! |

I've seen this very picture on the canal waters near Ottawa a month ago. It was such a surprise at the time but now it looks much more common. They are so much more funny live. I enjoy the unusual pose. Typical move from anyone trying to avoid being photographed. I would have liked seing a head peeking at us. A triangle formation would have been interesting. A couple would have made a good pair but the four bird corner to corner design seems ordinairy. Good luck |

Would have been interesting in either the Too Early or Too Late challenges! One problem with this shot is all too common -- the blown highlights caused by the white feathers. So it is overexposed. |
