This study includes multiple patterns of multiple types. The subject combines the Japanese paper crafts of origami or paper folding for the peacock-like crane, and kirigami or paper cutting for the shell-like enclosure, each following their own pattern. Two major light sources were arranged to get the shadow patterns. I hope that you find it interesting.

I did notice the paper chaff in the upper-left quadrant from a not-so-clean cut, I hope that it is not too distracting, but this was the best capture of many even after smoothing the chaff and trying again.

This was the first serious shoot with my new Canon 10-22mm ultra-wide lens and I took advantage of its close focus capability, sharpness, and DOF at f/29 - its an ultra lens in multiple ways.

another one where the more I look at it the more I like it - there is so much to this composition and so much effort into it as well - getting better by the minute

I like your origami work. The bird is very nicely done in the varigated paper. The green in the background is a bit bothersome. Over all, however, it is well thought out, put together and shot.

This is definately and interesting image, very eye catching and well composed. The only thing is, if the paper figure is your subject, then the green light seems to fight for attention.

Too bright in the green, distracts from the pattern and the wonderful origami bird

This is eyecatching. I'm wondering if it wouldn't have been more effective without the crane. To me, the crane adds a confusing element to an otherwise harmonious pattern of converging lines.

The bird, cut out cubes and shadows on bird are very effective. I found the green a bit distracting, however overall I like this and find it quite imaginative. Good work !

Interesting and quite creative. I like it. I might even adjust curves and saturate the colors further. It certainly draws the eye in.
