| This very provocative image has stuck in my mind, and I had to return to it :-) I wish you had more info with it, but perhaps it is better to allow the viewers own imagination to fill in the details. I would say, definitely do not be discouraged by the score on this photo. I think that this kind of image can strike a chord even unknowingly in many viewers, and thus cause an unfavorable response. This IMO, is definitely not a bad thing. It transcends being just a 'pretty picture', and becomes something that invokes an emotional response, some deep thought, good or bad, and willingly or not revisits the mind of the audience. My opinion on technicals still stand :-), but I say well done, this is a photo that you should be quite proud of, and I thank-you :-) |

OK - this is a different way to go..
Good setting, and nicely balanced. I am curious about the skin tones around her neck and the extra red splash on the left breast. Intentional? I hope you have a note on this one explaing where you were going.
Have had to bump up my original score - can't put it low just because I don't fully get it. It's still well done and we are, after all, striving for art. |

| Very interesting take on the challenge. Slightly disturbing, but in a good, thought provoking, scary, twisted art sort of way, if you know what I mean. The composition is sound, I think the rose adds a nice, interesting touch. Seems like the shot could be a bit sharper, maybe some usm would help. Also, for my taste, I'm thinking that a little tweaking in levels, making a little brighter, and deeper darks, might give some strengthened depth and tonal range. |

This image is as compelling as it is creepy. There has got to be a story behind this, and I sense that it is not a *good* one. I initially thought that I would prefer if the white sheet had been draped completely behind the model; I find the dark wood in the background to be distracting, but on the other hand - it adds a bit of "darkness" to the image that may not be unwarranted.
Certainly, this is outside the "norm" for thoughts on motherhood, and I would think that your score may suffer for this, but I do commend you for conceptualizing what may actually BE the "norm" for some. |

| Its origional, and the lighting is very effective for the whole strangeness factor... but I can't get over the paint job on the chest - its detracting from the picture overall... |
