Nice idea, but poor execution unfortunately. The sky is way blown out due to the over all overexposure of this photo. I split ND filter would have helped tone down the sky. I would also lose the specific crop here in this photo. This classic subject has been photographed many times and thus requires special attention to composition, light quality, and exposure to separate it from the many other photos. There is allot of dead space at the bottom and top of the photo that could be cropped to give your subject attention it deserves. I personally would have cropped a third off the bottom, right, and top of the photo. Next time you shoot this subject, or one like it, take care in what your composition is in the viewfinder. It is always better to get the composition right then to crop mistakes later. |

Beautiful, but the image doesnt stand out as vibrant, seems washed out, perhaps because of the mist. Maybe thats what you were going for. |

It's quite hazy, unfortunately, and a more interesting angle would have made for a better photograph (as far as this challenge is concerned) with fewer distractions, I think. (the GG bridge is quite striking head-on, I've found.) |
