Things that blend in with their surroundings don't make for good photography. |

I guess that would be! What is that, anyway? |

City Life is a pretty hard topic for those in West Texas I guess... |

the texture of the animal really blends in with the sidewalk in a fascinating way. these creatures look scary but you can easily tame them by flipping them over and stroking their bellies : ) |

Subject almost hidden in background, makes for intersting easter egg hunt, but would have preferred more contrasting background, but I understand that might not always be "workable". Cool toad, are they strictly defensive? Photo 8 City 6 total 7 |

Reminds me of an old landlord. Nice shot. I know it would have been hard, but it would have been better if the toad was on something that wasn't so similar to his coloration. |

Un-usual city life, but, city life indeed ΓΆ€“ I love the actor ΓΆ€“ He appears just a little out of focus. I like the addition of the crack in the cement, it adds balance to the overall photo. ΓΆ€“ Thanks for being bold enough to submit this as city life ΓΆ€“ it shows confidence |

So what is that? a heliomonster? doesn't matter - very great photo. Shows all of the different textures. What's his/her name? How'd you get it to smile?? Great job!!! |

From a slightly different angle you could have seen this reptile more clearly |

That thing is scary looking! Reminds me a lot of my city (crtters wandering around everywhere, etc.) only two suggestions. first, and it is probably impossible, would be to have more color in the picture. I understand there's not a lot you can do about htat, unless your God, and if that's the case, you've got better things to be doing than DPC. :-) Secondly, if this creature were in the upper right of the picture instead of the lower left, it would have somewhere ot go. i like it. |

Cool photo but it doesn't do much for me on the 'city life' topic... = 4 - jmsetzler |
