| Love the feeling projected in this photo. The shape of the cowboy hat is worn, old, and beaten - this imagery is conveyed both by the condition of the hat AND it's physical surroundings. The cracked and weathered bark of the tree that it rests on is a timeworn companion to the worn hat - both have seen younger days. The grass is brown and weathered too - playing into the theme of aged and worn out. Quite a different take on Shapes and a unique and creative one as well! |

| I like the play on subject matter, clearly fits the challenge as the hat is definately the focus of the photo. |

| Looks just like my grandpa's work hat, extra point for the personal nostalgia trip you just sent me on. I also like the focus and the nice autumn/winter feel to the colors. |
