Hi I am Kari from the critique club. Hopefully this is painless for you.
First Impression - the most important one:
I wish we had skys like that here ... beautiful.
Composition:
I like the composition, the log being on thirds works, the colours are wonderful.
Subject:
Hard to be off subject on best of, and you weren't met and excelled in fact.
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
Nature provides well.
To grow its vote?:
Top 60 finish ... and out of over 800 ... I would not know how to grow the vote ... I think that this is a fantastic finish.
Summary:
Looks like you should keep happening across these shots as you seem to. Keep hiking it seems to also inspire you.

| Really lovely colours and a nice interesting silhouette there. I feel it comes a bit close to touching the horizon, which could have been helped by taking the photo from slightly higher, but a fantastic shot all the same. |

| I really needed something calming today. This is simple and lovely. I'd rather the dark stuff at the bottom left wasn't there so it would be a cleaner image...but that's nit-picking;) Well Done. |

| Beautiful colors! I love the silhouette of the driftwood - without it the image would not have the imapct it does. Nice angle and composition. The calmness of the water is calming to the soul. |
