This photo generated some pretty strong emotion it appears, based on comments received. You would do well with images of this nature here nowadays I think. Are you still actively shooting? I notice it's been a long time since you've entered a challenge. About time to dust off the camera and jump back in? :-) |

The theme is powerful but the background elements are distracting. I think either show lots of the city around the man or not at all. Just a little is out of place.

Good shot, good execution. |

There is something very disturbing about this shot and the title ... whether intentional or not... |

This is sad, you have incorporated emotion into your shot very well. My only complaint, he blends into his background a little bit. Photo 9 City 8 total 8 |

Very emotive, the high contrast works well. |

This is a good shot of 'City Life' IMO. The only changes I could recomend would be to slightly change the angle to remove the parked car and wqait just a moment longer for the pedestrian to walk out of the frame. One of my top ten picks this week. |

Interesting, emotional, very news like. (9). Did you (just curious) try this in black and white, and/or rotate to make the viewing angle slightly askew in either your software or while you shot the picture? |

clear crisp shot. sad subject material. the guy across the street is a sort of weird part of the story. |

Too bad he can still smell San Fransisco. Weird angle, but nice shot. Definitely a shot of city life. I think more of the wall, and less of the street scene would have made this more powerful. |

Very powerful image (and title) -- I like how the subject stands out against the brown building. |

good topic. busy-maybe shooting him head on, having only the gate in the background, would help. right now the cane and the human compete, and the street distracts |

Really nice, sad, but good photo. Even though he can't see, I don't think I would have the nerve to take his picture. |

I like the shot, but I think cropping out just below the vehicle will make it stand out better. The vehicle and person in the back distracts me from the main focus. Although a second look, I now see the contrast in the two people and their situations in life. |
