I was driving along and saw a caboose sitting on a siding. Since a caboose is a rather rare siting these days I pulled over to get some pictures. As I was leaving I took a picture looking down the tracks. I forgot to change the ISO setting and ended up with a very over exposed picture. I corrected and took some more. When I got home it turned out that the overexposed photo was the best (or atleast my favorite) of the day.

Oh, does this ever look like many places where I grew up. Amazing shot which says so much without any silly title. Good Work and good choice.

A bit too high contrast for my taste. Still a powerful image. I do like how this shot gives me a feeling like it is something out of a dream though, perhaps even a nightmare for some reason...

I like the central tracks in the shot leading you into the picture but as they end they leave me nothing else to look at. I'm interested in the building to the left but I can't really make much out on it. Maybe a different perspective on the tracks? Lower and off to either side to get a different angle maybe?

I really think you have something here, I'd like to see different variations of this dream-scape.

Validated? I can't see what is questionable about this picture. Maybe I'm missing the point.

They look like train tracks to no where. This is good.....

If it was not for the lights on the building this image almost looks like it was taken along time ago. Not sure about this being b/w. I sure what you may have wanted was old type photo look here. The content does not jump out to me. I would mess with this image. I would try cloning out the lights then tring a dueltone or sepia look. Just for fun of course.

This definitely emits that lonely empty feeling winter causes in so many places. Superb job!! Great lay out. Excellent job!!

??? not quite sure what you're after. this really doesn't get me anywhere, or make me want to stay. but hey, that's just my opinion; as long as you love it, that's what matters.

I don't really think the high hey look works here.

Wow, I love the felling of desolation. Great cold atmosphere. Nice contrast.

Over exposed, not fond of the processing.

Your choice of high key for this image really works for me. The feeling of emptiness & isolation comes across very strongly, and I think the composition is great as well.

High-key interesting photo. I like the bleach effect. Too bad the left building is not more interesting.

Good composition, but the post-processing is overdone...
