nice idea, like the titleing, b&w dead on, good color, nice duo tone, great dof, interesting angle, good comp, nice texture, good lines, overall a nice pix |

Really like the mix of desat and colour in this shot. I think a closer crop on the left hand side may have made the overall impression more compelling. |

Great title, and the tree makes such a strong impact in this image..... |

I'm a little torn with this.. on one hand, I like what you've seen and are saying, but the desat seems to be just a little strong for me.. and I don't really like the lay-out of the gravestones.. If you'd found an angle where the stones were angled to lead into the tree, it could have been a much stronger compostion. |

Nice use of selective desaturation. Like the old cedar -8- |

This is my favorite so far. One suggestion I have (just a suggestion I'm giving this a 10) would be cloning out some of dead area of the tree with the vibrant green leaves. However, no matter how intricate of a cloning job you do it would be evident in a large print.... it would have been convincing on the web. Great job! |

Post processing and title go hand in hand. I like it. |

I think the concept is good, but technically this is subpar. |

I'm sitting here staring at this trying to decide if I like the desat or not. I know I like the shot, and the desat is not bad....just thinking that the highlights might be a bit blown. If they weren't so strikingly bright I would love this. The tree colors are beautiful. Perfect title. |

I rarely like cemetary shots despite the fact I've been known to take them. I like that you decided to take it from behind the stones so no names are shown--it gives it a timeless and placeless (if you will) feel. The selective desaturation is so appropriate here. Nicely done! |

Very creative. I like the title and the composition. You have taken an average scene and made it special. That is a wonderful talent. |

Interesting, good strong colour against the tones of grey. |
