Got this shot by accidently intruding at feedingtime. Aug 23, 2005. Set Up the camera and focus then used my infared remote to take various shots when mama got comfortable with just the tripod and camera

I love this one. It's no technical masterpiece but I believe more value should be placed on this moment in time caught so nicely, than the ususal super-smooth perfection everyone seems to gag for here at DPC.

what a cool shot! Great capture. The siding and white painted wood of the bird house both lok a bit over-exposed. Great detail on the birds!

Always use the full 640 pixel sizing if you wish to be taken seriously by the voters.. This is a very whimsical photo, but the harsh lighting, size, and lack of any compositional interest brings it down a bunch.

It would have been great if you could get ever so slightly closer, or used the full 640px size, so we could see the detail in the birds' faces better :)

This is a really small picture, would have had more impact sized at 640, which is allowable in the challenge rules.
