I work at a childrens cooking place, where we teach them recipes from stratch, things from pasta to truffles to angel food cake. Here a child is flattening the pasta dough with all her might and the expression is priceless... considering it takes very little effort to turn the handle, she was actually going pretty fast.

LOL this is priceless! Definately one to print A2 for her 18th birthday to embarrass her in front of all her friends!

Nice composition. Overall exposure looks fine and lacks hot spots which is tough when using regular flash. Good capture of your "helper".

That girl is enjoying this a bit too much.

would have been a more interesting picture without the hand. The look on the child face is so fantastic and shows so some much involvement.

The expression of the kid is rather scarying 8-?

Nice photo, capturing the process of cooking... it looks natural, not posed, which is excellent (the effort in her face). The shadow from the flash is a bit distracting though, if you'd diffused that a little then it would be even better.

At last someone who has connected people with food - we are passionate about food (in lots of ways) and this has come out here. Love the expression. Great shot.

I sincerely love the girl's facial expression. Fabuluous. I gave this a 6. The composition could have been a bit better. Maybe if you had this done in black and white it could have turned out spectacular. What destroyed the integrity of the capture was the flash. It was too strong for me. I don't know if the picture is supposed to have a fierce/firey atmosphere or not, but it's too strong in my opinion. Oh perhaps if there wasn't an extra hand to help out, it would have been better. I can't get over her facial expression, I love it!

technically this isn't that hot, with the flash flattening everything out and the blue "whites" of the child's eyes, but my lord her expression is FUNNY and I'm giving this a high score in what seems, to me, to be a very poor challenge.

"RAAAH!" The blur on the girls hand doesn't add to the picture. It would have it there was a longer exposure that would have showed movement, but this just looks like blur.

The look on that childs face is probably the concentration whoever is making the noodles is feeling lol. Great capture~!

that kid is a warrior! nice

love the idea and the expression, but the flash and shadows spoil this for me
