My monitor is calibrated to the printing lab I use. I see images as they will look in print. I dont see blotchiness, pixelization and unsharp focus. I guess there is no way around the difference in monitors...hmmmmmm. |

A simple yet complex photo with great expression, that is certainly inquisitve in nature. Nice lighting and tonalities, slightly over pocessed and/or pixelized under chin. Overall very nice. |

A very nice portrait. I think there are many questions in that expression. Nice job. -Tim |

Good foto; for me it would have looked better with sharper focus. |

I like your interpretation of the challenge. Good catch lights and composition. Perhaps the highlights on the skin are a little bright, but that level of comments is probably beyond my level of experience. |

Technically a very good image. Does it make me want to know more? No |

Looks like she's trying to get answers. I like the contrast/ B/W here, and the thoughtfulness of the subject. |

On my monitor, the shadowy areas are kind of blotchy. I don't count off for that, cause it could just as easily be my monitor as it could be yours, but just thought I"d mention it. Focus and clarity are really good. I like the dramatic lighting, and this definately portrays someone who appears to need some answers. I think you did a good job with this. Angle and framing/cropping are also good. Like how you have some blank space in the area the person is looking toward. ~Heather~ |

Great portrait, great light. seem to be missing some focus up around the eyes where it counts. Maybe a higher aperture to get that focus range. I still give it a 7 |
