 This is the god of mischief and fertility. He gave me this idea.

Crop, Exposure, Curves, Sharpen.

I shot this on one of those reflective silver sheets you get at a craft store. Two 600W halogen lamps bounced off a white backdrop onto the silver sheet gives the color. The texture of the sheet lends to the watery look of the reflection.

You nailed the assignment...Highlight subject from behind without making the subject a silouette. Smooth move using reflected light on the head. However, since half the figure is a silouette and the opaque aspect of the subject precludes translucence, the score is necessarily lower.

Great composition, great subject, I think the spot on the statues face is just a little to bright, and detracts from the mood of the shot a little.. maybe a larger softer light on the statuette?
