 I have to admit - this was one happy accident.
Moving car left the red line in this photograph.
I wouldn’t call it “my best of 2005” without that.

In the original shot there is a visible distant light in the middle of the trees.
I removed that with the stamp tool in Photoshop.

This scene seems so peacefull, except for the red line, which doesn't seem to belong.....I love the reflection.

I think this night scene would be better withough the red line, but that's just my opinion.

Really nice scene, but I think the red line is more of a distraction than anything. It would be so much nicer without it, with all greens and a really nice composition.

The bold red line pretty much destroys the tranquility of this scene. It works as a color complement, but it's compositionally unnecessary and quite distracting.
