I wasn't thinking this meant children should drink. Guess I was more caught up with the distortion effect, and the transparency and color of the ale. Sure, maybe others are right - if you were going to sell it to an add campaign, but I don't think that was your intention. Anyway, it doesn't deserve a placement of 84. Ah well. |

Nice shot, but is that a child on the other side? I'm not sure I like the idea of a photograph of a child through a glass of beer. |

very nice! i like it a lot. beautiful colors. a bit overexposured on the left side but i think it only adds to the general distortion so it's ok in this case. i also like the setting very much. looks like the child is amazed by the bubbles ;-) |

I'm wondering how many "pints" it took to complete the project. If you crop it square (or round) you'll have an archetypical "smiley face" image -- maybe you can sell it to them for a print ad. |

Nice idea, and I like the kid's smile. Could the brightness on the left side have been eliminated by using a less direct source of light, or could you have taken a higher res picture and cropped it off? It really detracts from the quality of this picture. Also, (and this is just a personal thing) the coupling of a child and beer (even if non-alc) bothers me. Why not Mountain Dew, or Kool-Aid? karmat |

This photo caught my eye at the very opening and I really like the colors and the way the whole face fills the photo. The light flare even adds a very nice element..One of my 10 best this week ...hokie |

Cute. Good photo. (8) Playing with the title in my head. How about "Pint Sized". Describes the Ale and Child. Just a quirky thought. |

Slightly contraversial in US, (kid/alcohol combo), but a well taken, interesting shot. The left side of this shot hurts the overall effect and the squarish reflection under the kid's eye is a minus, too. I do like how the beer bubbles appear like stars. Photo 6 Transparency 7 total 7 swash |

can I be an alcoholic too when I grow up? (kidding). I actually like the photo a lot. Great idea and great expression on the kid. |

Children and drinking just don't mix, my friend. Maybe if it was apple juice and the child's innocent face smiling just as bright I could've rated it higher. :) Otherwise, very nicely captured. |

I'd crop the left side. The bright spots are distracting. Right side is great! |
