I love this photo!
However, lighting this rose with a spot from above & behind doesn't appear to quite give the rose the same "punch" it would have if some of the petals were translucent. Try to set the spot just below the camera's line-of-sight shining directly at the bloom from behind.
This is a great photo for a couple's wedding album! |

| Don't think this is backlit. Light seems to be coming from overhead and to the right-front quadrant of the image. |
