 My beautiful friends Brian and XinYi. They were married a little over two years ago and live in JiLong. MeiGuo means America, his birthplace, and MeiZu is the name of her tribe (one of the twelve aboriginal tribes of Taiwan that were here before the Chinese).

They also happen to be some of the nicest people you could ever meet.

i don`t even have the tehnical words he mentioned.. and i hope i never will. the image is trully peaceful and it manages to pass it on to the viewer. that`s why i think it a great shot.

I've been back to this one several times, trying to think of a comment. Why is it a ten? Why is it so absolutely perfect? I could same something lame about the lovely muted colors, the compositional use of diagonals, perfect DOF. But I can't find words to decribe the magic of this gentle portrait.
