 This shot is straight out of the camera. I was wondering around trying to find something to take a picture of. It had just snowed and the the ground was steaming. It was way cool..I had to stop and take a picture of this horse walking through the warm mud. He was coming right for me so this is the only good shot I got of him. woohooo.. I love it because I didn't have to do anything to this shot to make it look like this. Thanks to those who give me a good score and commented.

Ha. The picture right before this one was a horse running through fresh snow powder. Then this poor horse. I actually like this one better though.

The mist on the ground does a nice job of isolating the horse. Good composition, but I'm not sure I fully like the horse coming *almost* straight on.. If it was straighter on (and cropped a bit closer), or more 3/4ths profile, I think I'd find it a stronger image.

Very nice. My fav. horse of this challenge so far. I like the use of negative space. The angle from which you took it is good - you are on his level. The movement of him walking is adding to its appeal. Beautiful coloration amidst a rather neutral pallette. Gotta give this one a 9. Good luck!!!
