FYI, I find the border stripe on this image to be very distracting. I've seen the same technique work well on other images, so it can certainly work... I just find it distracting, here. Perhaps if the image was cropped differently, it would work better?

This gave me the goosebumps - i could never eat it but it's a great picture!

Color, composition, lighting and overall technical image quality are top notch. The background bowl is very close to the edge of the frame and some viewers will find that distracting especially with the thin orange border cutting through the rim.

great angles, i'd lose the border to be honest and Im not sure about whole prawns in there shells as apetizing? Tails on yeah but.... I dunno its a great shot which just doesn't make me feel like I'd make it if I saw it in a recipe book. 7 none the less. (Forgot to say I think the prawns are a fantasticly natural colour :0) )

A bit more saturation on the shrimp would have given this more punch

I think it would have been better with the mayo in focus, or at least less blurred.

Very nice DOF and lighting. Also the border is nice. However, on the right side the border just touches the cranberry mayonnaise. I would prefer a less narrow crop on that side.

Nice composition and sharpness. More color saturation might be better.

its very nice, but i think a different background color would have worked better. the white bowl blends into the white background.

you're probably gonna recieve complaints about the red frame... well, you just don't need it. I like the colors, but maybe you could've cut out the mayo bowl the same way you did it with lobsters.
good shot though

Looks like a white balance problem? Add a little red and darken slightly. The shrimp will look better. Good imagery and dof.
