 550ex behind a pepper that is cut on the back, and cleaned on the inside.

10sec exposure - flash fires - then i paint the stem with a flashlight.

This is a great example of backlighting!! The two lights make for a good example of how to get it done. I think the DOF could be a little closer, but it may also be the light playing tricks on my eyes. Good job on a job well done.

I like the blue hightlight on the water drop and how well it compliments the color of the pepper. The water on the table is a bit distracting - cleaner if it were a painler reflection - more attention on the real image and the details of the light. Nice subject. Very pleasant.

I wish there were no blue on the underside of the pepper, otherwise a fantastic shot!

I'm not sure about the position of the vegetable here. Somehow i feel like it would look better resting on all four of its bulbous pods. The water on the surface detracts a bit. Otherwise, I like the colors and lighting.

because not more water drops show up on the pepper, the water in the forground just looks messy... would have been nicer all dry to see a nice clear reflection.
