The creamy Stroganoff-like filling in this distinctive lasagna makes it a stick-to-your-ribs entree.

1-1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
2 cans (15 oz. each) tomatoe sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
1/4 cup milk
18 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
Minced fresh parsley, optional

In a skillet, cook beef or turkey; drain. Stir in tomatoe sauce, onion, sugar, salt, Worchestershire sauce and garlic salt. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream and milk until smooth. In a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish, layer a forth of the meat sauce, six noodles and a third of cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining sauce. Cover and bake at 350 for 40 mins. Uncover and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake 5 mins. longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 15 mins. before cutting. Sprinkle with parsley. Yeild: 12 servings.

Background is way too busy in my opinion

that does look good. Nice picture

pretty table setting - looks great :)

would rather see the subject in focus than the wine

too many background distractions for me

Nice looking dish of Lasagna there.....the lighting is a bit harsh and the focus could stand to be more even on the food.

Good composition, color and arrangement. Looks very appealing. The closest corner of the lasagna holder is out of focus to the point of being a distraction to the viewer. Soft focus in the foreground of an image is always tricky. Looking at the front cover of a Denny's menu, which unfortunately they do not show on their website, you see a good example of a foods picture with soft focused foreground. Your image would be even better than it is if you applied about the same amount of foreground soft focus as the Denny's image has.

In my opinion, too shallow a Depth of Focus. Like the idea of using shallow DOF here, aperture just needed to be a little narrower for me.

Would prefer a constant focus over the whole dish. 6

DOF seems a little shallow unless that was your intention. A little different crop with more focus on your dish and less background distractions. Your lighting is excellent. The orange cheese and the blue mat are very complimentary.

the dish in the bottom right corner is kinda distracting, and maybe more focus on the food dish

Good comp but short DOF detracts for me....6

I appreciate the work you went through to set this up - the details really add to this. I think a little higher POV to show more of the surface of the food might highlight the food more - great work though

i think this would have been better without all the stuff in the background...

That lasagna looks delicious. The table settings take your attention away too much from the main subject. I realize that this is shallow DOF, but I'm having a hard time finding the focus anywhere.

Nice picture, but more DOF would have helped

It is a bit to crowded for me. Nice colours and it looks tasty.

Nice colors and composition. More DOF and fewer elements would be better.

Interesting perspective, I like the angles. You set an appealing table, but I do have problems with the DOF.

I'd like to see more of the food and less of the background/side elements.

Interesting. As a food that is, and picture is success also.
