I really like the idea and the composition. I think it would be helped a little by a few small setup modifications. If you are trying for clear water with no bubbles, try using water hat has boiled for a few minutes and then cooled... also, these shots always look good when the camera captures the water level dead on without being slightly above it... Also, a good lint free teatowel helps get the glass squeaky clean!! |

Nice combination of refraction and liquid (un)level standards that I almost missed. But the verticals and too-central composition is overwhelming, some additional background shapes and not-so-central composition would be better. Did you mean "Stripeometer," or how about "Tipometer" to make sure people didn't miss the liquid (un)level? |
