Thanks to all who took the time to comment!
I also wish the ground was "more attractive", but this was a last-minute idea, taken with less than an hour to go before the challenge deadline, so shot setup was minimal. This was shot in the garage, and was taken wherever the car happened to be parked...
Ideally I would have liked to have had her stepping out on to a red carpet, or next to something that implied a curb, etc. but there was no way I was going to be able to convince her to drive around and then stick her leg out while I took a bunch pictures. (As it was, the neighbors were probably wondering what all the flashes in our garage were!)
I really wish some of the people who voted this a 1, 2, 3 or 4 would have left some feedback as to why they thought it "sucked". The 25 people who left comments seemed to like it (average vote for commenters: 8.300). |

| Very elegant photo! I like the B&W. Only suggestion would be a better choice of ground, without the scratch marks? next to the heel of the shoe. Well done and good luck! |

| Really like this - simple but effective I guess, gets you thinking. I think it would've been more elegant without the ankle bracelett but that's just a minor detail on a really nicely composed shot. 8. |

| I like the stong diagonal lines provided by the leg and the door frame. The simplicity and nice leg are also appealing to me. Only improvement might have been something more to suggest night, given the challenge. |

| Beautiful image, my only 10 this challenge. I love the top of the leg! Looks great in black and white, effective exposure... the slightly overexposed look works well. Shame about the wrinkles in the stocking at the bottom of the foot at the back. The leg itself is mmmm gorgeous! 10 |

| very eye catching and looks like someone stepping out for the night but I think pavement would be better as the concrete says to me stepping out on the driveway anyway a 8 |
