Nice selective desat, and who can resist diagonals like this?

Nice composition and vibrant colors. Very good use of selective desat -- it really makes this image. Wonderful detail!

looks like you did a selective desaturation with this. Definatly makes the blue and yellow stand out though.

Nice, sharp can see the bees hairs, on thirds and leading lines. This meets a definate more than 6 for me. I feel is a little saturate though ...

i like the angle. the selective desaturation doesn't do a whole lot for me, though. great focus and dof.

I dont understand why the tilt and the desaturated background add to the image of the bee and the flower. Is it to emphasize the pointy leaves? Or make the blue of the flower stand out more? TO make it look dead? Windblown?

Nice desat work. I think it was a good choice given the busy background. Might fall prey to the anti-desat league.

Quite interesting but I think a tighter crop would have worked much better. The fuzzy texture of the bee is rather well captured.

I like the use of desaturation, however I think the composition is a bit heavy towards the top left. I think it would have looked better with a closer crop.

8 from me...i think if you didn't desaturate everything i would have had the same impact...or maybe didn't desatuarte it too much...just my opinion

Great use of desaturation. I like the intensity of the detail of the flower and the bee. Not the typical macro. Good job!!!
