top right corner and background should have been cleaned up - overall a great mopscape ...

I have saved this photo to the last of my voting. I have viewed it several times since the voting stage began. I find it to be one of the most interesting images in this challenge in an odd, quirky, intriguing kind of way. It is either pure genius or pure rubbish, or somewhere in between :-) Technically wise, it does seem like the focus could be just a tad sharper, perhaps a little usm would help. The color does look quite good. Lighting is even, but certainly not dramatic, but I don't think it needs to be for this image. I see no harsh shadows or hot spots. I am thinking that compositionally, perhaps it could be strengthened by cropping out the mop bucket, or maybe better yet to include all of it. Maybe not? I do give kudos for producing (at least to me) a refreshing and unique, thought provoking photo, although it may be something that does not appeal to the masses. Good luck in the challenge :-)

Interesting subject matter. I find the bucket at the bottom somewhat distracting. I would have cropped it out.

well it's a pix, color ok, lighting harsh, b&w ok, nice lines, not very interesting, crop needs work, overall I think you need to re-evaluate

Interesting photo for seemingly uninteresting subject matter. The black dealybob in the lower right detracts from the photo. Overall, quite interesting mops.

I'm sorry, but I think this is the most uninteresting image in this challenge, it looks like you just snapped away just to enter something.

at least you could have tried to make the image interresting by composing the image properly, even ust having one mop might make it a lot better..

just my 2¢

Would have benefited from a slight crop on the bottom eliminating the bucket.

I.. honestly don't know what to say about this one. Sorry.

should have been cropped better.either have all of the bucket in the shot or none i think. the way it is now...well it's to distracting.

The composition seems a bit busy with the bucket coming in at the bottom. Maybe having just the mops and less other elements would make it a stronger piece.

I think either including more of the yellow bucket or cropping it out altogether (I'm leaning toward the latter) would have made this work better for me. Also the very top could be cropped to eliminatae that piece of wood in the corner. I like the colors and textures of the mops but they could be much more vibrant. On my monitor the colors look a bit washed out. I wonder if you bracketed your exposures? This looks a tad overexposed.

Interesting shot. I think the yellow mop bucket distracts from the picture.

Great impersonation idea here. These mops really look like a pack of mean thugs and aliens to me.

Marked higher for fun.
