 Used several processing steps, neat image, USM in several stages, levels, cropped some.

Copied the bg to a new layer, applied it in Hard Light with gaussian blur, and erased the section arount the bug and flower, served to add contrast & interest to the bg elemenst without blurring the bug/flower. dodge/burn in some spots..

I would have cropped this image to focus on the grasshopper and flower more centrally.

nice idea, great color, too much negative space unless you wanted to make this a minimalistic piece, if so then right side is distracting, if not then comp needs work, blacks need work, whites a little blown, angle ok, ok movement, overall ok job

I think the title doesn't fit at all. Fortuately the picture works on it's own. Nice colours. The yellow seems a bit blown out. 6.

Great colour. although, as almost always with macro shots, I'd like to see a little greater depth of field. I know that would be difficult, though.

Nice macro. A little strong on the colors and saturation for my tastes, especially in the background. Like the composition you've chosen though.

The green flower stalk on the right in my opinion does not add to the image.
I realize it would have made a narrower image if cropped out and guess that was your reason for keeping it. Nice colors and good title. All the best
