I've been figuring out what this is from the very first moment, but I can't. maybe it's water, but that wouldn't make any sense. it looks like a close up of ... well.. something! with no title there's nothing to get a clue from.
great use of DOF and B&W. bumping you to a 9
I've came back to your photo and gonna bump it to 10. can't help but loving your photo! added to my faves!

| The perpsective you chose, along with the monotone conversion, give your shot an abstract quality. I like how you focused on shapes an lightness tones. 9. |

| I'm not really sure what this is - I keep looking but not sure. The shallow DOF is executed well, and I like the gray tones, also the textures. Just not sure what it is. |

| Did you forget to put a title on the shot? That might hurt your score but who knows. Anyway, like this shot a lot, the symbol reminds me of a sign of a local TV station. Composition is good and nice tonal range, good contrast. Enough for an 8 from me. |

| Nice abstract. (At least to me at this moment it is an abstract as I am trying to figure out what am I looking at.) Very nicely composed and thumbs up for making me spend 2 minutes on this one trying to figure out what it is:-) I'll have to get back to this one! |

| ...a very intriguing image to say the least...beautiful contrast, light and tone...it looks like an aerial view of a grand waterfall, then it doesn't...very interesting! |

| I have no idea what this is, but I really like it. I'm a bit fan of abstracts and this one is excellent. The composition, and mix of shapes, lines, and mixture of dark/light work really well. Great shot. 10 |
