 I am really stoked with the result of this shot as it was my third challenge and I moved up in my rankings from 34% and 20% in the last two, to be 87% in this challenge.

I am also happy to have received 7 10's and 9 9's. Also the bulk came in at 6's rather than that dreaded 5.

I wish I thought more about the title. I could have done better. msieglerfr made a great suggestion that I should have called this 'sign of victory' instead of Melbourne and I think he is right. I think the title of a picture is very important...to me anyway.

It's Serena Williams by the way. Some thought it was Venus. This was shot from a superbox at the Australian Open which is still running. When I saw the sign I couldn't help myself. Thanks everyone...hopefully it's onward and upward from here!

Well composed...I like how Melbourne ends at the exact corners of the image and how she's caught in the air moving parallel to the 'sign'. Very nice.
