Greetings from the Critique Club!

My standard text :)
-------------------
I'm by no means expert in area of photography. My comments are purely based on my limited understanding of technology and art behind digital photography. Apart from doing detailed evaluation of your submission, my intent is to learn different styles of photography by critically evaluating selective submissions. I hope following comments of mine are helpful to you .

Composition :
-------------
I feel the comments from other voters sum it all - a car steering, even if its an exotic car, does not really fit well into "fantasy" theme. It is too common a subject to be fantasized. Though the photo is aesthetically good, it someone does not give me "feel" of fantasy. I don't know if I'd have said the same for Ferrari steering :)

Also the photo looks a little busy as there are too many things to focus my eyes on.

Camera Work :
-------------
Seems like photo is taken in spot metering mode. It has burnt out the sunlit areas. I don't know if its really bad because if areas were not burnt out there would be even more things to take my focus away from steering. So I'm neutral on this one.

Post-processing :
-----------------
I don't really see much of post processing on this one. Maybe use of levels (or any equivalent tool) could enhance the contrast. The image as such looks a little flat (less contrast) but this might be because of subtle difference of color between the subject and surroundings.

Summary :
---------
I feel this is average composition and it got the fair rating. I did not voted for this challenge but I'd have given 4-5 for this one considering there are "relatively" more appealing photos submitted for same challenge.

I looked at your portfolio and you have some great pictures in there. Looking forward to more submissions from you in future challenges. And you really have got some great piece of equipment :)

If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via email, PM or IM (1530GMT-2330GMT)

Have a great day!

Although the Mini is a mighty fine car this is something that people basically see everyday during their morning drive so it is not a picture that one would find unique.

I can not see any fantasy in this!

How does this relate to the challenge topic?

is the left turn symbolic? mini's are pretty cool, and I see your reflection.

Not sure how this portrays a fantasy made real through photography. I don't see it at all.

Am I missing something here? I don't get the fantasy element of this.
