Great photo! Love the fire effect...this is more effective without the hotsauce in the bottle...keep em coming! |

Hey. Congrats. I did a hotsauce and fire shot with the exact same title though....still, mine wasn't nearly as good (but I should have saved such an idea for the temperature challenge huh !?) I should have done the computer background thing though instead of trying to wave a lighter around in front of the image of the bottle on the screen. I guess i just did things backwards and paid the price! lol. Thanks for the learning experience of compare/contrast. |

Have you wondered who the hell voted you 1s? It's a 'hot' product on a hot background and the challenge is 'Temperature'! Now by any stretch of the imagination or technical critique this does not deserve a 1 (let alone 2s and 3s). Who are these people?
Cheers
Jon

Thanks very much for the encouragement!! This was a fun shot to do. I set up the bottle in front of my computer screen with a fire background displayed. I tried it with hot sauce in the bottle but it looked too dark. I used aperature priority to get the blur I wanted on the background. Thanks again.
p.s. The voting breakdown chart is interesting. Check it out. |

That's the way. Keep the wins in the neighborhood. I think I saw one of those hot sauce bottles out where I took my shot. Great job. |

I didn't get to vote this time around but I did have a quick look through before the voting finished and this was the stand out shot to me.
Don't know how anyone could have voted it 1 or 2?? That's a bit beyond me as it portrays heat exceptionally well.
If I was you, I'd contact the company for the chili sauce and see if they want to use this in their advertising.
Great shot |

Hot stuff here! I am partial to flame myself and really appreciate this photo. Great sharpness on the bottle along with the slight tilt too it. The flame background really works well and has no distracting spots in my opinion. I know from personal experience with this type of shot its not to easy to get the flame to come out as smooth and balanced as you did. Great Job -- 8 |

Great one. I love the bright colors, really makes me feel that I'm looking straight into a burning fire. Nice double-play on 'hot', too. Normally, I'd say I want to see some hotsauce in the bottle, but on second thought I don't think it would work here. Just curious though if you tried. In my top five picks this week. :) |

Just as I leave a comment that cold is easier to portray than heat - alongcomes this one to prove me wrong. I really like this, it portrays heat well and with a twist. |

Beautiful shot!!! This is my wife's favourite photo she told me. And looking at it again I can see why. Somehow I must have missed this when I first voted. Maybe the phone rang or something when I voted on it. Anyway, it is excellent, the background is very fitting. Bumped from an 8 to a 10 - Gary |

Oh this is Very Hot!
Excellent photograph-- great (bluured) flame background and super sharp bottle, I love this shot..
Composition is dead on, off-centered subject and tilted just right for my eyes.
This would make a great Advertisement for the product, but most of all , It feals Damn Hot!
A 10 for sure! WINNER!! |
