 This shot was taken at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. I believe these birds are called willets. They love to run around at sunset hunting for sand fiddlers. They are pretty tough to capture b/c they are constantly moving around. I managed to catch these two as they were both on the hunt. I took this shot as the sun was setting around 5:00pm.

I love how the focus on this picture draws you in from the front of the picture to the birds...great capture. How did you get so close without the birds flying off?

Definately a different style from the other wildlife photos. The contrast on those watery bubbles really make this a great photo. Very nice!

6 - Nice capture. Criticism; even though the 'synchronicity' and reflections of 'wildlife' are there, the mirror-like surface of the water/sand with the 'bubbles' really makes this shot in my opinion. 'If only' to get both nice and sharp would have made this much better in my opinion., but difficult, obviously

Love the golden hue, but I'd like to either see more detail in the birds, or complete silhouette.

I really like this picture. The reflections, the foam and the birds all work very well together. Would like it more if there was more light on the birds (fill flash?).
