One of my favorite fashion photographers is David Mecey. He always has the best models, props and background locations. He is very adept at catching the model with a great expression. While I do not have the same setup as Macey I have tried to capture the type of photo he would have taken given a similar setup. Thanks to my lovely friend and model Claudia Gestro for helping me out.

Could you please give a little more info. How can I learn if you only say "photo doesn't look good".

What do you not like specifically.

Thanks!

great lighting and mood but dont like the foot being cropped off, would be better to see the toes a little more and the three reflections you have on the models left leg look like scars which would be best brushed out with teh advanced editing allowed within the challenge. Good luck

now, is Claudia Gestro the model or the tribute to whom homage is being paid?
either way, the colors are vibrant and the focus is crisp and sharp.
the boots definetly make the photo.
good work.

Clearly, I don't even give a damn about the whole "tribute" thing, right now; I'm just trying to find the "11" button (finding it hard to think, at the moment).

She has bitchy eyes. Great. 8

Excellent.....

Those are some strange-lookin' boots! But the image is representative of the referenced artist's style and the picture is well done. Maybe edit the reflection of the sequins on her thigh, though.

grrrrrr! sexy ;)

This is a lovely image. The only criticism I have is the white lines on her left thigh. It immediately caught my attention. A slight dodge/clone of these lines would have drastically improved it. I wish I could vote higher for this photo, but Ms. Gestro is a model, not a photographer. I see she was the model. ;-)

I review some work. I like this for color. The crop on the left distracts. The lighting is effective.

"...Work Offers Considered: Paid and Limited TFP..." (from www). How much did you offer?
Good shot, just cannot figure out to whom is the tribute?

What can you say :) - The background needs some work as the wrinkles are a little off putting as is the texture difference between the floor and wall backgrounds.

Very well done! Bumping up.

Nice photo, beautiful model and she even looks like claudia Gestro. I'm just not sure that it is what the challenge was about.

I'll freely admit that hot babes are likely to get a good score from me :) My only nitpicks on this one would be the marks on her leg that could have been cloned out, and the cropping seems a little off to me. I would have kept her foot entirely in the frame, and maybe would have eliminated just a bit of the headroom. You'll still get a good score, of course :)

Skin is soft, and color sare great. The toe is a little clipped off on the left of the frame, and the lighting seems a little harsh on the ground material. Very seductive pose.

nice shot

The boots really take away from this shot. Other than that and the glare on her leg from the sequins, it's a great picture.
