I personally love this shot. I think it might have received more votes in a different category, I am not sure which one but I think voters were looking for fantasy like we would see on TV.
The composition in this shot is excellent. I love to read the comments and find it very interesting how this shot was taken. I was wondering what kind of filter you could have possibly used but your approach is something I would not have thought of. I think the placement and pose of the subject is great not too centered. The warm glow just gives the shot a nice even flow. Everything in this shot really does look great. I could even see this on one of those inspiration posters you see. Great job as usual! |

Joey, I really enjoyed reading your background on this image! I had a really hard time voting on this pic because although I really like the image and it does convey a powerful dreamlike state it didn't really hit fantasy for me. I ended up as one of your 72 sixes.
And ya know if you can have dreams of floating silouettes why can't judy see butt cracks in your images? absinthe hmmm |

hmm... absinthe, Judy, and experimental Joey Lawrence imagery... I see a recipe for free-flowing poetry about illusory buttcracks. Fascinating, to be sure |

gave this a 6 in the challenge. it stood out as a sort of experimental/concept piece, but the rough edges still show. thinking about it, the one thing I would really have done differently if it were my shot is I would have had your/the model's legs bent back up to create some distance from the horizon. but then, that's MY shot, and not your dream :) |

I like the softness of the light in this shot. Might wish a little strong sillhouette...but I can certainly see your motivation behind the picture as is too....almost has a soothing effect for me. |
