nice photo, I personally would have cropped it with a little more space in front of him to give a sense of him movement

cute curly little tail.. great colours.. wondering what the white stuff is on its head..and there seems to be a bit of blurr along the wing?? not sure if its motion blur or an editing thing.. draws my eye for some reason.. in an unnatural way. I like the way the water is rippling away.. other than what is going on with the wing I really like this :)

i had a similar problem with my submission. this is a good photo but there is little definition in the duck's feathers.

great shot, but a little dark and probably too closely cropped imho

like the photo overall, but IMO there are a couple problems - first crop is too tight for this type of shot, losing the tip of the tail, do not know for sure what caused all those white spots, especially on head - may be molt but maybe could have cloned them out as they do distract greatly, also the eye should have been in better focus to show up better, good luck with it

A little dark. Would be better if beak/tail were not so close to the edge of the picture.

It's good but I think it's cropped too close

I'd like to see a bit more room around the subject. Nice colors if a bit dark
