Another shot I love. Perfect overlay of grass and ground and the colors are fantastic. |

Jimmy I really like this, I keep coming back to it, the texture works so well with the elephant. Coming originally from Zimbabwe where elephants are very common, I love the African wildlife, great shot and great processing. |

I like it. It makes the picture look like an old photograph you found in a trunk (haha). |

It does have a very pinkish hue on my monitor, maybe more of a rust color would be better but it may just be my monitor. |

I think part of what makes this so appealing is the effective choice of what to layer.
Grass is a natrual part of the elephant's environment. You think of it when you think of going on safari. It wouldn't work if you layered tire treads on it.
Good job. This takes thought on many levels, and on this shot you've got it all right. |

gotta love an elephant, and this is no different. Love the texture you used on him, very nice colouring. |

this is beautiful! it really stands out from the other images in the thread. like the colors & the artistic in it, looks like paint-brushes but when I looked at it again i saw it's something else.
nice job, added to my faves :) |

Wow I really like this, I could definatly see this hanging in my house. The editing makes it not feel so much like a snapshot at zoo like so many other zool shots. Thumbs up! |

i agree browner tones could be more useful in this shot. but i really like the rustic/aged look, like it could be an old photo taken in a remote village from 1911. dont ask where i picked that year. try this again with earthier tones, less pink/red.

This one stood out from the rest, I looove the layering here. I think you have done a very exception job with the PP. The red and the green go good together...but I can't help but wonder what a different color combination would look like. Maybe a Dark blue and burnt orange? |

This has a pink hue to it on my monitor. If it were a little on the brown side more than the red, it will look like this is a very old soul. I dig your experiments buddy ;) |

Interesting picture, I like the scratches here and the color for the most part. The red is a bit distracting but that could be just my taste. What would it look like with the texture just surrounding the elephant and not on him? |

This is a very nice series of pictures, I like the technique alot. As for improvements: I can't really think of any, the subject is sharp, the technique looks 'African batik' to me. Very nice! |

OH MAN!! You did that technique again. This is great with the touches of red. You're onto something. You should print them and sell them as a series. RIGHT ON!!!! |
