That floor of lilies is stunning. It looks like glass over marble. 9. |

nice perspective and tonal range (whatever tht is :-))
I think this would look a lot nicer in a bigger format.
I think the 640 is not doing it justice. |

I really love the composition, with the paper barks surrounding the lilly pond. The reflection of some of the trees inbetween the lillies, is a nice contrast. A very good B/W....."WOW", "WOW","WOW"..... |

Wonderful, love the angle, leaves just enough to be able to appreciate both the 'floor' and the 'uprising' scenery. Well done! |

Depth. Contrast. Subjects. Some clouds would be nice. Seems appropriate for Adams. |

When Adams's didn't have dark, strong, angry clouds, he had gradiated skies from dark to light. It is this type of sky that I see in this composition. Small yet still effective. The tonal qualities of this image is striking and the use of a wide angle completes this spot on tribute to one of our greatest photographers. Great job! |

this is fine for your grayscale freek, but composition wise ansel was a purest and tried to keep the frame as simple and beautiful as possible, i think that in his style that is just as important as the grayscale (b/c now ppl. can fake the grayscale so efficently)....i'm sorry to say but i feel u missed the mark with way 2 busy a composition. |
