cute little gem you have here...if you push the saturation a little i think the colors would be more vibrant and make the shot a little less 'dry' looking

Good capture, but the light, even though it's all natural, is a bit harsh. I always find that bird pics come out better when slightly overcast diffused light is present. Focus looks like it's bang on. Good capture.

9 - Very nice capture. Nice 'simple' composition. Criticism; not much... maybe a crop variation, especially at the top, otherwise, depending what you had to work with, more height/bigger, may have given this even more, not sure. Up to 9 from 8.

Nice delicate feeling, good sharpness, DOF, composition. Maybe a touch more saturation would help? I like it a lot.

You know I have seen (and taken) hundreds of Chickadee shots but this is one of the nicest I've seen. Great DOF, nice light, good focus. Nice job.

I think off-center framing might have made this shot even better, but your choice is far from poor. It's a great picture.

very nice daylight colors, exposure, and focus ... my birding friend tells me the eye reflection is a must for bird photos .. you got it ... DOF isolates New Hampshire's state bird nicely.

What a nice picture of the black-capped chickadee. The difficulty here is to keep details on the white part and on the black part of the bird. You've succeeded very well. Niche lighting, great details. Very,very well done. -9

My favorite bird. Cheerful, hearty, and cute. Well captured! I must say, though, that the sprig just behind him is a distraction. Still, I like it.

Nice clarity of detail and shallow DOF works well to blur the background. Composition doesn't quite work for me; even with the body of the bird being left of centre it feels quite centred overall.
